Chord diagram for Gbm
This is the WHOLE song, with the bits of dialogue from the episode played during the
solo 1 , solo 2, and da-da bits. The how-to-play video by Voltaire himself doesn't explain
it very clearly in my opinion; he has chord fingerings right but his tuning is off and
doesn't call the chords what they actually are. Don't get me wrong-the guy's amazing and I
have nothing against him! Enjoy playing Brains!

Chords

Drop C# tuning:
C#m- 022000
G#7- x21202
F#m- x02210

Standard tuning:
C#m- x46654
G#7- 464544
F#m- xx4675 (or x57765)

A capo helps but isn't required, put it on the 4th fret in standard tuning if you
choose to play that way.

Standard tuning relative to capo:
C#m- x02210
G#7- 020100
F#m- xx0231

See the dull expression on his face

     F#m C#m F#m C#m

I'll eat their brains 'til they're zombi-fied.
F#m C#m F#m C#m
Sure they might think it's deranged
               G#7

                       C#m
After I've eaten their brain.

C#m F#m G#7
BRAINS, BRAINS, It's okay.
C#m F#m G#7
It's not a matter if it isn't gray,
     F#m C#m F#m C#m
And if at first they think it's strange,
       G#7
they won't think twice
                     C#m
If they don't have a brain!

Solo 1

Da-da

Go down to the Wonton shop,
My fortune cookie says that I just can't stop
I suck the noodle right out of their heads
And half an hours later, I'm hungry again!

Solo 1

Creep into the donut stop
Sneak in tip-toe past the cop.
Pick me up a cruller and a cupful of tea.
And any other sweet brains you happen to see.

Chorus

C#m F#m G#7
BRAINS, BRAINS, I won't lie,

Sure they might think it's deranged
               G#7
But they won't give it a thought
                       C#m
After I've eaten their brain.

And if at first they think it's strange,
       G#7
they won't think twice

Solo 1

Da-da x2

Bridge/Breakdown

C#m
Brains, Brains, I love 'em, I need 'em...
My tummy jumps for joy when I eat 'em.
Big ones, fat ones, short ones, tall ones,
They're so delectable, especially the small ones.
No time to cook 'em in a skillet.
My belly's rumblin', I got a need to fill it.
I don't fry 'em, the heat will only shrink 'em,
I'll just grab myself a straw and I drink 'em!!!(ohhhhhhh...)

Solo 2 x2

Solo 1

Da-da x2

Verse

You've been swell to go around
And bring me every single brain in town
But with all these brains, I can't help but think
That there isn't one left out there to drink.

Solo 1

Now fess up boy, come on, Heck!
Is there someone that you're trying to protect?
Bring her down here to meet her end
And I promise I'll be your bestest friend.

Chorus

BRAINS, BRAINS, I won't lie,
I'll eat her brain 'til she’s zombified.
Sure she might think it's deranged
But she won't give it a thought
After I've eaten her brain.
BRAINS, BRAINS, It's okay.
It's not a matter if it isn't gray,
And if at first she thinks it's strange,
She won't think twice
If she don't have a brain!

It's a really easy 3-chord song, it's just a little lengthy. The Verses and Choruses are
played the same.
