Standard Tuning. Capo 1st Fret. 2/4 timing - about 68bpm

This is how I play it on acoustic guitar, just using soft downstrokes. Adding the 9th to the opening chord
gives you the first note of the vocals. Also, pulling off with the middle finger on the Bm barre chord sounds
alright too, which makes a Bsus2 chord. (I do it in the verse, on the 2nd beat of the first bar, and the 2nd
beat of the second bar, and play Bm for the last 2 bars.)

The looooong middle eight is something you can work out if you wish, or use someone elses solo. I think it
goes from the Bm to G and works back to Bm somehow, repeats, then goes elsewhere lol. Good luck if you decide
to work it out - please post). For the Middle Eight I use(to make a bridge)the chords from the first line of
the chorus, chords from the second line of the chorus twice, then the chords from the last line of the chorus.
I end the song with a few bars of Bm.

[Verse 1]
Em9 G
Everyone it seems
D Bm
Has somewhere to go
        Em9 G
And the faster the world spins
    D Bm
The shorter the lights will glow
        Em9 G
And I'm swimming in the night
D Bm
Chasing down the moon
    Em9 G
The deeper in the water
D Bm
The more I long for you

[Chorus]
A F#m F#m7
Most of what you see my dear is purely for show
        Em C Bm
Because not everything that goes around comes back around you know
A F#m F#m7
Holding on too long is just fear of letting go
        Em C Bm
Because not everything that goes around comes back around you know
A F#m F#m7 Bm
One thing that is clear it's all down hill from here

[Verse 2]
Em9 G
Lovelight in your hand
D Bm
cleverly disguised
        Em9 G
All the promises of stone
D Bm
crumble in the night

[Chorus]
A F#m F#m7
Most of what you see my dear is worth letting go
        Em C Bm
Because not everything that goes around comes back around you know
A F#m F#m7
Holding on too long is just a fear of what to show
        Em C Bm
Because not everything that goes around comes back around you know
Em C Bm
Not everything that goes around comes back around you know
A F#m F#m7 Bm
One thing that is clear It's all down hill from here
