Song: (Sittin' on) The dock of the bay
Artist: Otis Redding
Composers: Otis Redding and Steve Cropper
Tabbed by DJ ('DiddyD' on ultimateGuitar.com)

Emphasise the bass notes of each chord. Please note that the
G *, G/F and G/F# in brackets are just optional passing bass
notes not intended to be played as full chords.
Any inversions of the main chords is fine, I just prefer to use
mainly barre chords for the verses, and 1st inversions to get into
descending bass notes in the choruses.
The G/D in the intro and the E/B in the coda are the standard
G and E chords just emphasising the alternating bass note.
