Knock on my door

Matt flourishes alot of A and B chords with their relevant 7th's which makes it sound more challenging than
it is. I have not written out the outro as it is mainly a repetition of the chords from the song and you
wouldn't really ever play much beyond the last outro.

Please feel free to leave corrections!

[Intro]

A / / / ¦ E / / / ¦ B / / / ¦ B / / / ¦

[Verse]
E G# Dbm
It’s been a long time since we went out
B A E B B7 B
Dancing on new years eve alone in the crowd
    E G# Dbm
But now I need a friend ‘cause I’ve been going down
       B A E B B7 B
And my time counts for nothing, no, when you’re not around

[Chorus]
    A E B
To do the things they did before
A E B
You would let me inside and we would sleep right on your floor
       Dbm B A E
Well I know those days are over, but I still want more
            A E A B E
Come on and knock on my door, come and knock on my door

E / / / ¦ G# / / / ¦ Dbm / / / ¦ / / B / ¦

A / / / ¦ E / / / ¦ B / / / ¦ B / / / ¦

[Verse]
E G# Dbm
Can’t watch the movies or listen to that radio
  B A E B B7 B
I can’t read the poets, oh no, I’ve got nowhere to go
    E G# Dbm
And all my youth and ambition they’re all but gone
       B A E
‘Cause now the streets are just the streets, this song is just a
A A7 A
song

[Chorus]
            A E B B7 B
So come and do the things they did before
         A E B
When you let me inside and we would sleep right on your floor
       Dbm B A E
Well I know those days are over, but I still want more
               A E A B E
So come on and knock on my door, come and knock on my door
            A E A B E
come on and knock on my door, come and knock on my door.
