Here's another Naive Thieves song, the second that I've tabbed (check out Anxiété).

Suggestion: Barr Chords for EVERYTHING. And you should probably play them high up on the guitar, like the C on
the 8th fret E string instead of the 3rd fret A string, and the G on the 1oth fret A string instead of the
3rd fret E string, etc.

If you have any suggestions, corrections, or anything else, please leave a comment below :)

[Verse 1]

C G C Em
You god damned alabaster bastards,
C G C Em
shaking constitutions softer than a sand castle
        Dm G
Oh your fickle words don't make me bat one lash.

[Verse 2]

C G C Em
But I got shackled to the same old bull
C G C Em
Got me on my knees praying to holy smoke
       Dm G C G C
Oh I'd rather die than see you pacified.

     C G Bb F
Well I could never lie or fawn but every now and then I need the denouement.

Something more than just a means to an end.

[Verse 3]

C G C Em
Blasé billows drifted in the dead of night,
C G C Em
leaving brittle bones to crumble in the morning light.
    Dm G C G C
But you won't get an ounce of sympathy from me.

[Verse 4]

C G C Em
Cause I've been working at this all my life.
    C G C Em
And after everything I've sacrificed,
Dm G C G C
I won't feel remorse for heresy.

[Chorus]

     C G Bb F
Well I could never lie or fawn but every now and then I need the denouement.

[Bridge]

Dm G
More than just a means to get by.
              Dm G
And I've been praying for so long for just a little of your time.
              C G Dm G F
To prove I'm right. Oh. Deserving this time, am I right?

[Chorus]

     C G Bb F
Well I could never lie or fawn but every now and then I need the denouement.
    C G Bb F
And I can't sing that I'm unique, but all these hypocrites can just create debris and
C G Bb F
You celebrate 'em, and then you hate 'em, I wonder if it's even worth creating
C Dm G C
Something more than just a means to an end
