It's my first tab, so, cut me some slack, but I welcome constructive criticism and corrections. So, here goes.First of all, I'm going to give you the real chords according to tonality (I.E. how theythen the chords according to how they are shaped. This song is played with a capo at 5for those of us that are still Roman), but if you know what you are doing, can beanywhere. I prefer to play with no capo because my beloved Ibanez is not a cutaway, andpast 12 hurts.C F CYou got a lotC F COf tendernessC F CAnd so much loveC FYou can get no restAm CIf you're willing to waste a little timeAmI don't wanna all of itF CAll I need is a little bitBridge-ish Thing:Am CFYou know daddy gave you everything on a silver platterAm FBut the one thing he never gave you(?)Was the one thing that really mattersYes, that's a question mark. There's a chord there which boggles me. I typically will doD-minor to a G, then do a blues turn around to an F, but, if you find something thatfor you, go to it! Let me know, though, as I piss my organ player off by not deciding onproper chord...Now, that's all from the capo or in first. I'll say that again...( Tab from: http://www.guitartabs.cc/tabs/m/madeleine_peyroux/a_little_bit_crd.html )...everything above was the CHORD as it should sound. Everything below is the CHORD-SHAPE.G Cadd9 GYou got a lotG Cadd9 GOf tendernessG Cadd9 GAnd so much loveG CYou can get no restEm GIf you're willing to waste a little timeEmI don't wanna all of itC GAll I need is a little bitBridge-ish Thing:Em GCYou know daddy gave you everything on a silver platterEm CBut the one thing he never gave you(?)Was the one thing that really mattersAgain, on this one, I muff it. Not hard, but, doesn't quite satisfy. As far as the G toswitch goes, don't pick up your fingers from the board, simply flatten them. It'sand sounds closer to the album. If you intend on doing this on your own, do what youAlso, a Cadd9 is:0-3-2-0-2-2So, that's about it. Some quick notes:1. Blues. That's what this song is influenced by, but it's not too much in a minor, soyour blues scales for soloing, but don't make it too sad.2. If you need too, I highly suggest getting an organ or piano player to help out.3. Those shapes that I gave you below the warning can be transposed up and down thefor those of you that haven't quite gotten there in your theory (it's okay). Find a key thatcomfortable in, because the song won't change to fit you much. Thanks! Let me know how this works out for you.Karlmidnights.ghost@gmail.com
