Iris DeMent - Troublesome Waters

      
 
 In addition to writing some of the most beautiful songs in a generation, Iris
 DeMent has done some absolutely tantalizing covers. This is one of my
 favorites.

 I usually play it with the capo on the fifth fret so I can play in
 G-shapes.
 That way a lot of the melody notes are nearby for me to fingerpick.
