 *some explanation is needed for this part....to get this down try using hybrid picking
 to do this you are gonna pick the low E with down strokes and pluck the G, D, A strings with your middle finger
 
 there is also another method to this....you can use your thumb to plunk the low E and use your index to plink the G, D, A strings with your right hand....for the left hand just leave your index finger on the note and use your middle and pinky fingers on the higher notes
