The same incomplete and erroneous version of these chords has been around many chord/tabs sites on the web for quiteawhile now. My ear produces this version which I think is at least 99% correct. It seems like a relatively simple andlinear, fast flowing song but there's some tricky turns in the arrangement. The last chords for me to get were the 2minor sevenths which ended up sounding best to me. It's a fun, strumming workout. Enjoy!P.S. It should be easy to figure out my personal "algebra" like chord notation that I prefer using.Cherry TreeIntro: 3(ADEA)2(AEDE AEDA)2(Bm7 E F#m7 A) Bm72(AEDE AEDA)2(Bm7 E F#m7 A) Bm7AADA2(AEDE AEDA)2(Bm7 E F#m7 A) Bm7A ADE ADE AOver your shoulder, please don't mind meif my eyes have fallen onto your magazine. For I've been watching, and wonderingwhy your face is changing with every line you read. For all those lines and circles, to me a mystery.Eve pull down the apple, and give a taste to me.If she would it would be wonderful. But my pride is in the way.I cannot read to save my life, I'm so ashamed to say.I live in silence, afraid to speakof my life in darkness because I cannot read. For all those lines and circles, to me a mystery.Eve pull down the apple and give a taste to me.If she could it would be wonderful. Then I wouldn't need someone else's eyesto see what's in front of me.No one guiding me.LEADLEADIt makes me humble, to be so greenat what every kid can do when he learns A to Z.But all those lines and circles, just frighten meand I fear that I'll be trampled if you don't reach for me.Before I run I'll have to take a fall. And when pick myself up so slowlyI'll devourevery one of those books in the towerof Knowledge.
